One in a while I'm losing all sounds on my Kyocera 5135, i.e. no key beeps, ring dsound when making a call, or hraring the other person when on a call. Sometimes I get the sound back when I go to the key beep volume and I change it. Anyone else with this issue. Is it hard to service?

I am having the exact same problem - My first 5135 lost its display (blue screen, no words) after one month. This one replaced it in December of 2002, now, just a few months later, it too is beginning to fail.

I am going to request to be given another brand of phone, as the quality of the Kyocera's I have owned (including my old 2035) has been below average.

Anyone else with similar issues?

I just got my second replacement phone a week ago, and it seems that the only problem so far is a poorly responsive "2" key. The first replacement 5135 couldn't even connect to the network. I asked for a different brand of phone, but they said that it was too late
