In the market for an MP3 player

I currently have a 30gb and 4gb iPod, and to be honest, I am a little bored with iPods. What other options are there for me? Needs to be able to be synced with a Mac, not running Parallels. Am I stuck with Apple?

I am thinking about a Touch just for the wifi capabilities (had an iPhone already so I am familiar with that.)

Can anyone recommend anything else for me? Size is not a huge issue, physical size or memory size. I need at least 4gb.

Suggestions are welcome.

I was so opposed to getting a Touch, but I received one for my birthday last month and it has been great. IMO, it sounds excellent and has many, many features that you will keep you loving the device.

I rarely even use the mp3 player part because there are just so many things to do on this thing...! The App store adds tremendous value to this player.

I have the 2nd gen Touch; I would recommend this one over the first gen due to hardware volume buttons, speaker, faster processor, better sound quality, and longer battery.

^I got one of those. I like it pretty well. No blue tooth or anything but it's nice.

Is that comaptible with Apple/OSX? If it isn't, I can't use it.

here is the key:
if the audio player can also be used as flash drive, you're set
iriver and cowon can also be used as flash drive, except the models state: windows media player 11 required
that's why I refuse to get Samsung and Sansa

E100 takes microSDHC, but currently only up to 8GB is available on the market
more "unremovable" on board is better, that I don't have to switch card frequently (I have 32GB CF on my HP211, my mp3 player, that the SD is used for videos)

im currently rockin a sony walkman nwz-s1618
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-oekaUH...y-NWZ-S618.html

its plug-n-play and imo has the best sound quality of any mp3 player ive used
also got a crystal clear screen... was able to watch a movie with subtitles on it with no problems (even though the screen is only 3 inches diagonally...)
the newer models have build in bluetooth and a bigger screen

Sansa players can be used as flash drives , and you do not need windows media player

they are drag and drop

To be honest, I'm not sure. I know it comes with samsung software so you don't have to use WMP.

*edit* I just read WMP is required, so no, sorry.
