Type G/Cyber Faceplate

Looking on EBay, theres a lot of faceplates for the 6590(i) and 8390 that are called Type G or Cyber faceplates. They look nothing like an OEM faceplate and I was wondering where they come from and if it's a cover for a 6590 or an 8390 thats modded to fit both. TIA.
