does the gd88 have active flip and how do u activate it????

this phone does have voice activation but what's the shortcut key for it??? like, usually phones that do have it all you have to do is press and hold the send button and then you just say their name!

No active flip

Press and hold down the lower part of the navigation key to activate voice dial (you won't see anything unless you have recorded some voice tags)

i think there isn't a way to voice dial without plugging the headset.

i just found that you can only voice dial by holding the headset button. It will activate voice dial then.
correct me if i'm wrong.

sorry for being a noob but just wanna be sure what active flip means...active flip as in connect a call without opening flip??
or open flip to answer a call??

zaku voice dial without headset is possible as I described (press and hold lower part of navigation ring)

Active flip as per Samsung - open to answer call, close to end, is not available on Pana

hi Bro bazzer

think pana active flip only works when you have your head set connected. open flip and wait for a couple of seconds, then it will auto answer the call.

If you have the headset connected you don't need to open the phone at all, it will auto answer after a few rings.

Press the button near the mic to end the call.

As zaku has found press and hold the headset button (you should hear a beep) activates voice dial.

You need to get Pana OEM version.

This has an extra connector (a collar) that allows the button to work.

Don't buy a generic with 2.5mm plug alone, even if it has a button it won't work.

hello

da fone does have active flip, it jus gives you an opertunity! if you open the fone when someone is calling, then after a few rings the fone auto answers, as i found out when trying to ignore someone, if you den clsoe the fone it wa automaticalyl switch to speaker

Would never have thought about trying that. Not really what I'd call active flip though.

Can't test it as my phone is STILL at CRC.

I spoke to someone at panasonic, apparently they cannot put active flip as the patent belongs to motorola???

Funny, I heard that the follow on mobile to X70 has active flip.
