Hi everyone im having problems hacking this phone . I would like to have blue tooth not contact tooth I would also like to be able to change the size of files im limited to download on videos. I dont know if this is possible but Im willing to listen to any hacks for sprint. Also I have been thinking about flashing to us cellular or the factory moto but I dont know if i will lose my data capabilities. I have free internet through sprint, shamless plug "GO sprint". I have tried several seems and they dont seem to work. Any help is welcomed, thanks.

I have a V9m fully flashed to Metro PCS with working web and mms. You need RSD Lite to flash the phone and RSD general to load/change your settings. I would rund general to save all your mms and web settings as files which can be recalled later. Then run the Motorola generic firmware flash with RSD lite. Just know that if you do this you lose alot of Sprint's "shiny" features but you get a much more functional phone.

Thanks for the reply, on the subject of web will I lose my service for sprint web and also will i have to call up sprint and have them do anything once i flash my phone. Ive read that i will lose jave but im willing to do that if my phone does what it was designed to do.

Getting the internet to work is a matter of having the correct settings on the phone. If you have internet through Sprint already, that will not be removed from your account if you flash the phone... you just need the right settings so it can access Sprint's network.

thanks for the replies, im workin on getting rsd to work i have the most updated version of general and 4.9.1 of lite. for some reason general keeps giving me an error on cdmax and wont save to file. I have xp and all the drivers, it reads from phone so its not a complete failure. . weird thing my wifes phone it will save and also asks for spc mine is different no spc ask nor will it save. On the wifes phone it only makes a 9kb file so i dont think it saving all of it. gotta love the v9m.

yeah that's odd cuz I didn't have any issues with mine. But if you flash the phone and your web settings are correct you should be fine. The only thing is that cometimes generic firmwares will wipe your browser settings. Thats why I said back up all your settings in rsd general. you have to check the ones off you want to save(on the provisioning tool at the bottom left) then click read phone after you check the all off. Then click on the text of the setting you want to change. well in this case save. And it will save files like settings.edo or web.rtb. These are the files to save so if your settings are wiped you can pop em back into the phone when your done. takes a lot of patience but rsd is definitely the way
