S55/S56 sound quality

I just signed on with ATTWS a couple of weeks ago. I started with a Nokia 3650, but I found it to be too bulky to carry, so I traded it in for a Nokia 6200.

The 6200 is a wonderful phone in nearly every way but one - its sound quality is terrible! The sound is so tinny that it can be very difficult to understand what a caller is saying.

The next likely phone on my list would be the S56. However, it is even smaller than the 6200, and I'm concerned that it, too, may be very tinny sounding.

So, on the assumption that the S55 and S56 will sound the same, does anyone want to comment on the sound quality compared to other phones?

I found that the sound quality was great on the S55. The volume could have been louder though but then I find that with most phones these days. The one's that I used that were loud enough were the 6590i, 8290, p280.

It's got great sound quality. It's loud & clear. Even the speakerfone sounded great. Much better than some of the other fones that I have used this year.

I just got a S55, and I think that the sound quality is quite good.
