8100 problem when rec a call

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Grischa

When my 8100 rings, I open the phone and say "hello" and the caller does not hear me until I say "hello" again. This happens 4 times out of 5. Call answer is set to open flip in the menu.

Has anyone else experienced this? If this is a defect, I have 2 more days to return/exchange it.

Thanks

mine does the exact same thing. veeeeerrrrrryyyyyyy irritating. i thought maybe it was sprint but i guess it didn't happen before with my previous phone - 4900. anyone else? this is something that, if widespread, desperately needs to addressed by sprint and sanyo with a firmware upgrade.

My 5300 does the same thing. I think we've discussed this before and its just a function of the phone.

I think when the phone is set to open to answer there are a few seconds untill the person calling can actually here you. Maybe so the person thats calling doesn't here the click when the phone is being opened. I changed my setting to any key answer because I know after I push the button the person can here me plus I show off the caller id pictures.

that's weird

Happens with my 5150, too. The phone doesn't acutally start the call for a second after you open the flip, or something like that.
