Hi,

i put a new skin on my v3c using skinner4moto and P2k commander and used the phone's menus to select it. Now i can not use half the phone's function including not being able to get back to the tools options to select the default theme once again.

the default skin directory is still there. What is the simplest way to revert back to the default skin?

thanks

Educated guess says in one of the SEEM holds the default skin config.

That doesn't help me a lot. I have looked out there at flashes and monsters and SEEM and I don't feel confident about taking those routes. Not after what was an apparently simple operation here has gone so wrong. :-)

What I was doing was installing the XB-Light-Blue theme from skinner4moto. It loaded ok but then when i selected it I could not get back to the menu to them get to change my theme back.

When I click on menu the phone seems to reset ... the PC bleeps a couple of times to indicate that a USB device has been disconnected and reconnected, the screen on the phone goes white for a fraction of a second and then comes back to the usual Verizon display. The phone seems to be engaged doing stuff for a while.

I did try this though ... i transferred the default theme files to my PC and loaded them into skinner4moto - several errors reported. I saved them as XB-Light-Blue and then transferred them back to the phone in the XB-Light-Blue skin directory - unfortunately it did not have the desired effect.

I'd be happy to put this back to Verizon out of the box status but the guides I have read (admitedly it's been a long day) dare not exactly intuitive and tend to be loaded with information that is likely superfluous to what i need to do.
