W580I keys not lighting up

I have a W580I that is a few months old, and I noticed the keys have quit lighting up when the phone is slide open, dialing, or texting. I did wiggle the two pieces, and it lit up momentarily. Can someone help me with this? Thanks

I'd try to reconnect the sub-keypad, and if that doesn't take care of the problem, replace it. The Sub-keypad is the sticker-like piece under the keypad. All the lights (led's) are embedded in this piece. Sounds like either a bad connection (loose from being dropped) or a malfunctioning piece (short in the wiring).
