I just got a second hand S55 and have a couple of questions about it (after reading the manual of course)

Is there a way to mute a call so that the other party can't hear you? The manual doesn't mention it but I frequently need the ability to do this.

Is the ringtone editor on the Siemens software suite supposed to work? Everytime I try to play a ringtone from it my phone gives an error, I have to reboot it and then I can select the melodies directly from the phone.

Is the up volume key supposed to work? The key on the phone I got doesn't appear to, I think it is broken.

Keylock... I'm scared to turn this on as I don't know my SIMs PIN code. Is it turned off with the pin code or just a key combination?

Yes you can mute... during a call look in the call options...

I have never had to reboot the fone to get a tone not sure why you're getting that???

Yes the volume key is supposed to work... if yours doesn't then it probably is broken.

You can lock they keys without the pin just hold down the # key to lock/unlock the keypad
