will us cellular blackberry work on verizon?

I have the option to buy a used blackberry pearl for 60 bucks that is originally from us cellular. I was wondering if i would be able to use this on my verizon plan. I know they are both cdma, but i just wanna make sure there is nothing i dont know about that could prevent it from working properly.

Verizon has plans to allow any compatible device to be activated on their network. However, i don't know if this has happened yet, and while that phone would be compatible, I don't know that Verizon will allow it onto their network.
