8390-->8910 faceplate issues...

Ok...this is going to sound really stupid...but...

I got my 8390 today and bought a 8910 conversion housing (not the one from Daydeal) and first thing I did when I took the phone out of the box, was of course to slap on the 8910 housing. But now I can't get the housing off!! The instructions are all in chinese and the pictures are very vague.

Does anyone know how to get this off?

PS- Here's the thread with pics of the housing if you're interested: http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...threadid=140793

The difference between the two is appearance:

The 8910 conversion Daydeal sells:

And the one that i have (actual picture of my phone ) :

Actually, I talked to another member who also owns the housing and he told me that it's a pain to take the housing off and told me what he did to take it off. I was taking it off and it slipped out of my hands and hit the floor (short fall) and the phone popped out just enough so that I could remove the housing! What are the odds!

Thanks sirius1722 for the advice...but I would like to ask you...by having the faceplate you have will the 8390 look like 8910 ....i mean with Titanum looking and feeling...not plastic?

Posted by: sirius1722

Nope the faceplate is all plastic, but it doesn't feel cheap. Real titanium would be pretty expensive, no?
