I just got the Sanyo 8100 today (the navy/gold one too, its pretty cool) and I haven't gotten a PCS Vision plan yet and I was wondering if I would get charged for just taking pictures. If not, would I get charged for making the pics my screensaver? Thanks!

You can take as many pictures as you want for free. The cost comes in when you want to send the pictures to someone. The only way to get the pictures off your phone is to upload so you will want Vision some time in the future. Also, you can use the pictures as screensavers for free as well.

where in texas are you? i'm waiting for the blue one but i don't think any stores in houston have them yet.

I am in College Station, TX. I know what you mean, I called every store in Houston looking for them and no one had them. Then my roommate's boyfriend in Dallas got the blue phone so I called my Sprint store here and they had just gotten them in (and I bought the last one, they're going fast!). It's weird because I figured Houston would get them before College Station....

Dallas, Tx---Radio Shack

I got mine at the Radio Shack in Carrollton, TX (Dallas) this past Monday. My friend works there and told me when the first shipment would come in. I was there as soon as they were unloaded and bought one !

I know that you didn't ask for advice or anything, but signing up for vision now is a good idea...firstly, you never know when they're going to start charging more for unlimited data...also, the kb-s add up fast.

I'm always up for advice! I am going to sign up for vision but I was thinking about getting the 2000 minutes for $100 plan to share minutes with my dad, so I am waiting for him to decide. Hopefully he'll decide by this weekend so I can get vision because I have a cool phone but I can't do all the cool stuff yet!

Vision is pretty neat...especially now that the rumors have started flying around that SPCS is about to finally (FINALLY) launch AIM!
