Handset security code advice

Greetings...
I need to access a whole range of mobile phones of all brands and models for forensic examinations. Some handsets come in to me with security codes or passwords in place that prevent me getting access and I need to either reset these to default or be able to read them from the handset to gain access to the data.
*** Please note I do NOT need to unblock the network codes or SIM pin/puk codes as these are provided to me from the network operator ****
*** I just need the user handset / security code / password but I cannot use a master reset or anything that will cause loss of data ****
Any advice on what tools / boxes / software or codes I should be looking to get would be greatly appriciated.
Many thanks in advance...

Most phones using the Qualcomm Chipset can be read with QPST. I'm sure similar software exists for various manufacturers. I know for sure LG,Motorola, and Samsung have tools available for such things.
