The game closely follows the main events of the Ninja Tribunal/Lost Episodes.

Two modes of gameplay:
* Adventure mode: all of the storytelling, wandering around areas, character interaction and object manipulation, collecting and usage
* Battle mode: full of tactics and strategy where the two opposing parties face off, taking turns in attacking either physically, or by concentrating and using their chi (usage of magic in battles)
Based on a TV series of 12 never before seen ‘lost episodes’ called ‘The Ninja Tribunal’."
