A friend of mine has bought the S57 (the Asian equivalent of S55 without Bluetooth and voice-dial), but after playing with it, I noticed that the backlight of the screen will turn off after a very short period of time. Did Siemens do this so as to save on battery? Is there any way this backlight can stay on for a longer period of time (i.e. any place this can be adjusted through the menus)? I've been fiddling around with it for a couple of hours, but couldn't find a menu item that leads me to it. Any chance experts out there can shed some light?

Apologise again if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't locate any messages/threads relating to this.
