I cant find out what extention the 8100 uses for its ringtones .... anyone know..... and if i have it uploaded to a site such as www.mysite.com/ringtone.XXX ,,,, how do i download the ringtone? just go to www.mysite.com/ringtone.XXX on my phone browser and it should start downloading? i dont have vision so i wanna know all this stuff before i get on and start having the money tick away

Thanks

You dont have Vision ? How do you expect to share the pictures you take ? If you dont have vision then I wouldnt even use your web browser. It charges you for data at $.02 or something. Someone correct me if I am wrong. The best thing is to find midi files you lke and crop them. Save on your computer and get SnapMedia for your phone. That is going to be the cheapest without Vision. Or just pay the $15 for the Picture Pack to share fotos and download ringtones from the free sites.

why would you get a camera phone if you weren't going to share the pics?

I've loaded a couple of my own ringtones to the 8100 using www.3gupload.com.

Done the same with personal wallpapers too.

If you wanted to make the ringtone longer you can use Anvil Studio to first increase it's length www.anvilstudio.com and then load it to the phone.
