audiovox 8600 battery question

My battery says this
for 8600
li-ion 3.6V 900mAh
the websites I found have are different numbers that I get
900mAH, 3.7V 1000MAh
The website said it is compatible with my phone, I do not want to short the phone out.

higher MAh means longer life..and .1 volt isnt a big deal...look at rechargable AA batteries they are 1.3 volt not 1.5
