Stock vs 3rd party (aftermarket) faceplates

Hi everyone. I used my stock faceplate for a month without a single scratch on it. I got a 3rd party no name faceplate and used it for two months and i noticed that it has gotten scratched A LOT (the screen of course). I'm just wondering if this is unique to me (maybe I've been more aggressive on my phone in the past 2 months)...or does anyone else with a 3rd party faceplate see that the 3rd party plates are more sensitive?

I got a scratch on my third party face plate the first day. They're mostly cheaply made. The one I got with the phone the OEM Nokia one never got a scratch and no nicks. I have to be extra sensitive with my 3rd party faceplates.

aftermarket faceplates are all about getting the most you can out of the least resources, which is why the faceplates are paper thin. OEM faceplates are best, they're built to last and are quality faceplates, plus, they actually fit on your phone without any gaps are missing pieces.

I abandoned my aftermarket plate because the scratches were getting on my nerves. I checked out the OEM Nokia plates and they cost 60 bucks (Canadian), which is way too much money for a faceplate. I know someone who got me one much cheaper than that and I know for sure it's OEM. But even then spending 60 bucks on an OEM plate may end up being cheaper then buying a new faceplate every 1-2 months. OEM all the way.

I Agree.. bought 2 AFTERMARKET (knock off OEMs) and have bought 1 OEM... the OEM's quality is so noticable... I love it. For NOKIA's... the OEM's have great quality.. the aftermarkets.. buyer beware...
