After a year my T665 crashed and died on me. Apparently while in the leather case it caused a system reset error. This happened twice to me, the second time it totally messed up my battery and my T665 could no longer hold a charge for more than 10 mins, even after charging all night. Thank goodness for the Best Buy service plan. I went in today and got a brand new TG50! Now I can send contacts back and for with my Sony Ericsson T610 via Bluetooth!!

I sent over a contact from my phone which has an image attached to it (the Sony Ericsson T610 has picture ID...you can attach a pic to your contacts so when they call their pic pops up). The TG50 saved the contact perfectly with the attached jpeg able to be viewed in the contact info. I then tried to send just a jpeg image alone from my phone to the TG50. It accepted it and d/led the file. But then it said saved in unknown format and now I can't find the file at all. I did a search for it and nothing comes up. Did the jpeg get accepted? If so where can I find it. At first I thought the TG50 didn't support jpegs but I read the checked the manual and it says it does.

The PalmOS only accepts certain things when transferring over Bluetooth/Infrared. There are quite a few programs that overcome this barrier, check out palmgear.com for some. I use McFile which is a file manager, other possibilities are ZLauncher (a system launcher), but I think there are some programs specifically designed for phone to PDA transferring.
