Almost ready to give up and buy a new phone and carrier b/c I just PO'd now.
Is this phone really sewn up so tight that no one can find a way to workaround vm's proprietary game crap? Used to have the players club version of MYstery mansion Pinball that I kept active as long as I could in hopes that eventually I'd get to keep it - of course when PC games no longer worked and VM did give free dl links to the keeper games, I missed out because I had to switch out my broken phone (same model, new esn)
I am now going completely bonkers trying to move/adapt/hack/or somehow magically whammy any version of this game to my new phhone - and this includes a a willingnmess to buy the frickin thing all over again but I can't even seem to do that since anyplace that has it for sale isn't available for Vm service - DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SOLUTIONS????
have tried via data cable and gotten messages like "this content not supported" which also turned all mu other game icons useless as well, one that says "select one to launch" with nothing to select, and one that when launched just returns me to games folder. I must be missing something but iI can't figure what - anyone please advise or is the only way to play this game for me to get a different phone? will a data pack and opera mini help ? what is the data pack for anyway? I can't get a straight answer from vm even when I finally get to live advisor who knows nothing!! I like the phone well enough to have gone through 6 of them already but this is likely my breaking p oint if I canm't find a solution ,,,

OK - how about this then - Does/did anyone have or Know of anyone who has a snapper on Virgin mobile service also with a working version of Mystery Mansion Pinball? If so how did this come to pass? or how about a v7 flasher who might be willing to let me have a peek at the jad file? OR some way to pay a service knowing that it won't dl to the phone but will dl to my pc?
Would actually prefer buying the game if anyone can point me to a vendor that can give it to me via VirginMobile or at least a proper format for the 8915 via download that I can port via cable to the phone? creative solutions welcome if anybody even has a suggestion of an idea that might work?

I have a snapper (or had, it just stopped connecting with VM).
I have used a data cable and BitPim to over write current games. The game name would not change on the menu, but it works. Not sure were to get your pin ball game but it must be a Java game. If it is check out "the official Snapper thread" under the UT Starcom / Audiovox forum.
Any suggestions on a good replacement for my Snapper?

Actually I may have a had a bit of luck through the forum at Gameloft direct after posting a "last straw" sort of complaint, but even that may be to little too late as I think the snappers prl version is getting too old to stay connected or something - I am having trouble connecting with a current subscription game myself.
As far as a suggestion goes, what kind of style/features did you want? And are you looking to stay with VM? Most people have said the ARC (currently 49.99 on vmusasite) is the next step up from the Snapper if you want to stay with VM - it looks to have similar specs n features to the Snapper and is probably the closest in form and function if that's what you like.
For me, the plans available are getting more like postpaid everyday - with the necessisty of reupping a minimum $ amount every month, so I'm looking around again. This time at some providers with a little more flexibility in content sources... I've picked up some good deals on ebay for a refurb razrv3, a used v3xx with extras, and a great deal on a nokia 6131 NEW AND with EXTRAS!! I think the camera quality on each will determine which one I ultimately keep... My snapper has served me well, but I think the fact that its not supported by the carrier or the manufacturer or ANYBODY is going to mean retirement. Too bad it wasn't more popular, I really liked it as a phone quite a lot..
