im not sure if it will work for a verizon t720 .. i tried for my friend but i think she didn't have web access but give it a try..

i posted this early hope this helps...

requirements: t720i phone with webaccess
web host to upload files to. ie: boomspeed.com

step 1.
download whatever midi file or gif file you want on your local hard drive.

step 2.
upload those files onto your webhost.

step 3.
on your phone - open "web access" and then "go to url" and input the adress where you files is located, ie: http://members.aol.com/yourusername/gunit.mid

step 4.
store your file.

wala - you have midi files and .gif's on your phone. remember to format the .gif file to the screen's specs.

actually he has verizon. so i would suggest reading the gagin faq in the verizon sub-forum.

From everything I've read, GAGIN is the only to upload ringtones on a Verizon phone without having to pay for them. BTW...does anyone know if GAGIN will work on an Alltel T720 (same CDMA service)?

Gagin might work on an Alltel phone but I doubt it. Anyways...you can get free ringtones...just not really...free with a $1.50 purchase of one through get it now~>MyTonz. Buy a 1 use and then go to Free Songs. Download all of them. Then use your 1 use. Next, all you have to do is use gagin to replace the free downloaded songs.
