Does anybody know why I do not have the option to switch from Rogers 3G network to GSM network and vice versa? My w760 is supposed to be able to do so...but I don't think Rogers will let me.

Might be a phone issue... I have a SE K850i, and I have that option. (Very very usefull to conserve battery energy btw)

Yeah...battery life is my main reason for wanting to do it. My phone manual says I'm supposed to have the option...but it isn't there.

you may have the option but it has been disabled or hidden by your provider.
