GU87 Infared port how to activate to recieve?

I was wondering how can I activate the infared port on the GU87 to recieve files from a phone. Because apprently I can send midi files and pix to an SE T306 phone but then I cant recieve from the SEt306 to my GU87. I read the manu. but I dunno I wouldnt think it would just recieve form other GU87s would it? that just be lame right there.

Receiving Data via Infrared Port
From Idle mode:
Once data is displayed:
for Phone Book data:
for Scheduler data:
for all other data: the received data will automatically be
saved in the Received Folder.

go to the applications > infrared > data receive.
make sure to do this on the GU87 first before sending from the other phone or the phone might not be able to receive.
Received files will be in the "Received" folder as ducky said.
