Is it possible to modify a nextel phone to use on Boost with iDEN Carrier RSS so that text messages give a notification rather than quietly going directly to the inbox?

Also can I download data files to update Motorola iDEN Carrier RSS R01.16.16 (from 2005) to support the newest phones, or if not, what is the newest version? PM me if you have to.

To clarify, I was hoping that the CSD\*\*.s19 files (the customer specific data files) weren't copyrighted and could be shared, but I guess I just answered my question, as they are distributed with it.

there are many sites on the web that discuss s19 files and their use. this place is just not one of them.

a google search will get you pointed in the right direction
