Hi all, i'm not sure if this has been discussed.

So I was looking through ATT data plans and there across this (*Messaging & Data Unlimited) which is not for **PDA/Blackberry/Smartphone in general. Its $30 with unlimited messaging and data vs the $30 for just unlimited PDA/Blackberry/Smartphone data plan.

My question is whether anyone has been able to purchase an unlocked PDA/Blackberry/Smartphone on creigslist or ebay and has been able to use the *Messaging & Data Unlimited on your Blackberry or smartphone?

unlocked bb you're gonna have problems. iphone problems. others smartphones, less likely. depends what you are currently using, or were using and what you will be using.

If your currently using a "dumbphone" (or have one you can put your SIM in for a minute) - just add Text and Data $30 plan, buy an unlocked smartphone online, and put your SIM in it.

You never have to call CS, or do anything...

Thanks FormerRuling, that's what I'm did. I should know on Monday if they will let me do that or catch the mistake.
