Lg Keybo Text Message Problems

I have the LG KEYBO(Venus) and i put some ringtones on it using bitpim. But after it rebooted my inbox got erased and i cannot recieve txt messages anymore. This is the second time this has happened. The first time around i simply thought the phone broke but i think i am doing something wrong in bitpim. Could someone please help me
