(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Every part of the site tells me to get unlimited web I sign up for vcast. However the Nationwide connect plan is different it offers unlimited web without vcast.

Is this really how its setup? Would vcast some how be locked out even though I would have unlimited web?

I've never actually used vcast so im not very familier with it.

Connect plans are going to have unlimited text and pics and includes unlimited mobile web and mobile email. The connect plan does not include access to vcast music or vcast videos. So if you use text messaging and don't care about the vcast music or video. Since it's 30.00 more expensive then the basic plan. The vcast vpak includes mobile web vcast video and vcast music but does not include text or mobile email. The vcast vpak is 15 a month. That is added on top of your price plan as a feature

VCast Music does not require a separate subscription anymore. It's a charge per download.

can you rephrase the bolded sentences, the first one sounds like there should be more to it
"so if you use txt msging and dont care about the vcast music or video, _____________.

the second also sounds like the period should be a comma and a suggestion should be made, lol (or is it just me)

i also want unlimited Txt, pix, flix and mobile web. could care less about vcast

edit...
Just looked on my phone on 'my verizon' today, and to add Vcast (which includes
vcast
email
mobile web)

vcast video is where you can access video clips of things such as news clips, sports highlights, and other short video clips. this is NOT included in the connect plan. you will be charged per MB if you access these.
vcast music is where you can browse and download music to your phone. this is also NOT included with the connect plan.

Mobile web is where you basically opening a web browser and can go to any website you want to, is included
Mobile email is an application you can download that allows you to add your email addresses to the application and receive emails to your phone. Kinda like a mini outlook express application.

The mobile web and mobile email are included in the connect plan, but if you want the vcast video and music you would need the vcast vpak feature which is the 15.00 a month feature i reffered to.

edit update::
exactly: the vpak is
vcast video/music
mobile web
mobile email.
obviously if you download anything from vcast music it will be charged extra.(.99-1.99 per song)

the only thing your not getting with the connect plan is the vcast music/video
which in some cases, if you have 3 or 4 lines that all want web access, its cheaper then adding a 15.00 package for each line. In that case you would want to go to the connect plan which makes it a little cheaper.

OK I am a bit confused. I have the Vcast for $15.00 per month. It says on the website that it has mobile web with unlimited MB, I find that yes I do have web access, but it is quite limited and slow on some web sites. When I click on the youtube link, I get a message that I need an unlimited data plan and I cannot access any videos on Youtube. So what's the deal?

I get to g-mail and Yahoo pretty fast and most of the things on the Vcast menu, but when I go to other sites, it gets painfully slow.

Am I doing something wrong. I was not able to add vcast vpak to my service from my home computer online, but was able to add it when I went to my account on the phone.

well access to the web and specific web pages can vary depending on if that webpage has a mobile version or if it displays as a normal website in which as can take longer.
with youtube. you may want to check that message you read again. it should let you into youtube. it will just give you a message that states that it is data intensive and suggests a unlimited data plan. thats because the videos would use mb's like crazy if you didnt have a unlimited web plan. as long as you have the vcast 15.00 feature you can use whatever you want and not have to worry about usage.
but some webpages will display better then some other ones it just depends on what the website has on it since your phones web browser wont display flash or any streaming video.
