Dude, you're gonna have to be more specific. What network was it on? What network do you want to flash/unlock it to? Can it even be done?It sounds like you're in a foreign country and not too many countries use cdma (the technology the Kyocera uses). And even the ones that do, it can be so different from the American version that it's practically incompatible (Like Japan and South Korea's networks.) Theoretically , you can unlock or flash anything for anywhere, but that's just a technical theory. Finding someone who can it without bricking your phone or costing two limbs is another story. If your Kyocera is on the Virgin Mobile USA network, forget about it. Put it on ebay and get your money's worth because Virgin Mobile's from America can be a phone flasher/unlocker's nightmare.

Find out what technology the carrier you want to use it on uses. If they DON'T use sim cards, you might have a fraction of a chance. If they DO use sim cards, forget it. Might as well give Mel Gibson a sex change. It ain't gonna work. Use the ebay option. Good luck.

thanx very much dude.its actually an american virgine mobile phone ans its does not use sim too.can i get the security code?? and probable am in africa Ghana so how can i put it on ebay??its was close pal who did sent me the phone

Well, you can try to put it on Ebay, but the trust level of African countries in general is very low , Nigeria and West Africa in particular. Most people dismiss any and all attempts to do trade with African countries because of the extremely high number of scammers and con artists from that region. All I can say is maybe you can have your American buddy put it on for you and you ship it to the buyer. You're in a tough situation. If you don't have paypal forget it. No one wants to do any kind of other transaction on ebay , especially from a foreign country and even more especially from an African country. If you try to get moneygrams, Western Union, credit card, cash, money order or anything else from an American buyer, forget it. It won't work. Ebay won't even allow it. The only African Ebay is South Africa .And no, a US Virgin Mobile absolutely cannot be used in Ghana. You guys use sim cards, gsm 900/1800. Only unlocked quadband phones from US would work there. Virgin Mobile USA phones won't work at all. Have your US buddy list the phone for you then ship it to the winning buyer. That's all I can recommend. Good luck.
