Confused about this problem...

Now I have a family plan, and to upgrade to a newer phone, I need to switch to the Nationwide plan.
However I went to my local store to do this, and the person kept on telling me he needs the primary, even though I am the primary phoneline.
I then talked to the online rep, and he said that on the Verizon store account my line is the primary, but since the other line set up the online account, their the primary on that. The online rep then told me to call eservices to solve this, but that is not on the verizonwireless website anywhere.
So, has anyone else encountered this problem, and what did you do to solve this?
Does the primary mean the person paying, or the name of the person who has the phone?

the primary line is the main line on the account. It doesnt have to be the persons number that pays the bill or even who's name the account is under. the primary is the line that "costs the most" for example.
primary line : MTN 999-999-1111 50.00 per month
2nd line : MTN 999-999-2222 9.99 per month
3rd line : MTN 999-999-3333 9.99 per month
4th line : MTN 999-999-4444 9.99 per month
The person whos name the account is under can be any of those 4 lines.
for instance my account is under my name but my dad is the primary line.
You can make whatever number you want the primary line. It doesnt have to be the account owner.(whoevers name its under)

That makes sense, and in my case I am the primary line... My dad pays for it, my name is on primary line, and my mom's on the second line. Hmm I guess I will go down there with my father this time and see if they will agree to change it. He said for security purposes he needs the primary. Oh well... Thanks for the info.
