Any New Phones not requiring a Nationwide Plan?

I'm thinking of upgrading my phone from my MOTO MAXX which I've now had for over 2 years. I'm no longer under contract but planning to stay on my current LDC plan with 15% discount using MOU for data.

I've always liked Motorola phones so I'm thinking of signing a 1yr contract and upgrading to a Moto Adventure V750 for $29.99. My fear however, is that Verizon will release a really cool phone, after my 30 days has expired, that doesn't require a NW plan after I've already locked myself in a contract.

So what I would like to find out is people's thoughts on the likelihood of Verizon releasing any new phones that don't require a Nationwide Plan?

From my understanding they require NW plans for phones with HTML browsers and Dashboard. And it seems they are throwing Dashboard on nearly every phone now.
