Can I add more minutes without signing a contract?

So, just recently I added two more members to my family plan, so between 5 of us there are 2100 minutes. Unfortunately, I checked on my minutes last night and realized we are very close to going over and my next cycle doesn't begin until May 5. I was wondering if I could add more minutes or at least (which I wouldn't want to do unless it was my last choice) upgrade my plan without signing into a contract?

I'm not sure how much it would help, but I am a VIP member.

I am not sure about being out of contract, but I don't think they would make you sign a new contract unless you got a phone from them. Go to your my verizon and go through the steps, they have to tell you if it is going to renew your contract.

Also, you may want to look at Friends and Family and maybe rethink what numbers you have. I was able to drop down from the 4000 minute plan, to the 1400 plan all due to Friends and Family. We also have 5 phones, 2 teenagers and a pre teen and the cell phones are our only phones, We talk about 10,000 to 15,000 minutes a month, but only burn about 1000 off our minute plan.

Plan changes do not affect the contract, so yes you can.
