Audiovox 8910 freaking out!

K... I have two 8910's I got from Cricket back in Sept or Oct. I originally flashed an old moto v265 to cricket and retired my 8910, and eventually we retired my wife's when we switched back to Sprint.
I had thought about getting my 8910's service on again as a backup phone with extremely basic service recently but when I try to charge the phone the light flashes, it turns off and on (cricket logo flashes briefly), and if I can get it to attempt to turn on, it flashes a message:
Please Wait,
User data is being
restore....[1]
Battery's been dead since November, the last time I turned it on. Figuring that it was just this phone, I decided to try the other one only to find it's doing the exact same thing.
Anyone ever see this or know how to get this thing to turn on?
