Hey guys I bought my father a 5300 for fathers day coming up and got LG1200 while I was there for myself. Now he likes the LG1200 better than the 5300 ,, its less techincal he says.
He's 71 so I can see his point. Do any of you know how to change the phone numbers between the 2?

thanks

That shouldn't be too hard, but because you (with the 1200) aren't a Vision customer, and he (with the 5300) probably is, you may have to call CS to get it done.

If you want to try it without calling customer service, try this:

You'll need a third Sprint phone (any SPCS phone will do). Go to www.sprintpcs.com and click on the "activate your phone" link near the bottom. Activate this random third phone on your account (replacing the 1200), then take the 1200 and use the same web system to activate it on your fathers account (replacing his 5300). Finally, replace the third phone you used (that is now active on your account) with the 5300.

That should work, but again, because your account isn't currently set up for Vison, you may end up needing to call CS.

Good luck.

ya I got it done via CS. Both are on my account and, my account was way oudated to what they have now. Its how I remember the 80's and what we paid back in "the day" lol. Anyway I'll tell you what, the CS I talked to totaly blew me away. Now Sprint CS has always been very helpful. But this guy Stan if I rem correctly
was great. I explained to him what was going and what would be the best approch and such. He took ownership of my call right from the get go, even told me that it would take awhile since I was getting a new plan and adding 2 new phone etc. I tell you what its late nights like this when your dog tired and still working and need to get the whole cell thing out of the way that when I talked to Stan "CS" I felt very comfortable that he would do what ever it took to get CSR completed.

Sorry for the totaly pro Sprint but damn I'm just not use to being treated that well and I work in Telecom for last 14 years!!!!

So if by some off chance you Stan read this THANKS!!!
