I have an 8350i on the Boost Mobile network. I am trying to find someone who has Nextel service and the most up to date software (v4.6.1.204) and wouldn't mind sending me their service books. If you don't know how to...

1. ENABLE SERVICE BOOK COMPLETE BACKUP / OVER WRITE / RESTORE on the Device, like this:
open Options -> Advanced Options -> Service Books hold Alt and hit {S}{B}{E}{B} let go of alt and it should show a message about how legacy service books are enabled.

2. BACKUP EXISTING SERVICE BOOKS
Hook up the phone to the laptop
Open Blackberry Desktop Manager -> Backup/Restore -> Advanced ->

On the right side scroll down to ServiceBook, and click on the arrow that points to the left, then click on File - > Save

I can't find a way to merge different service books together, and if I have email working, I am missing the service books for Blackberry Maps and a few other things that I need.

Why can't you just resend service books from BIS?

Bc boost doesn't offer bis...yet. I hear they are working on it but in th mean time I'm trying to find working service books to restore maps and attachments.

Can anyone help me out?
