Just got my nokia 6650 and I can't figure out how to access/download the attachments in emails using the att email program. does it NOT do attachments?

If you are talking about the Mobile Email program offered by AT&T, it will only indicate the prsence of an attachment but you can neither download nor upload attachments. Be careful deleting messages with attachments on your phone because you might delete the message on the server before actually viewing the complete item.

boy, you would think they would have added the capability of attachments by now! So, second question... I can't find the setting in Mobile Email that lets me set whether or not the email gets left on the server... so far it IS leaving copies on the server.

OH, just realized you have an 6650, screw the ATT program, use the builtin s60 email, then you can get attachments, and view HTML email.

It is probably under the preferences for the specific email service once you connect. Be sure to turn off email alerts before you switch phones. You will get strange text files on the new phone.
