Contract coming to an end, phone I want not in sight..what to do?

Hello everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I figure I will go ahead...

So my contract expires June 26th and there are currently no phones that peak my interest, yet I want to stay with VZW (and keep my number). I have a feeling I will lose my NE2 discount if I don't renew for a 2yr contract before the end of June.

I really want the BB "Tour" but this is rumored for August on VZW.

I really don't want to renew my contract only get have to pay retail for this new BB.

What are my options to hold me off until that phone comes out?

Your options are to do nothing and wait until the phone you want is released. You won't lose your NE2. You'll just be on a month-to-month contract is all. No big deal.

You are actually at a better position when you are on month-by-month. You can either upgrade at anytime or switch to another carrier and receive much better discount. Believe me, you won't lose NE2, you will get something better than NE2.

What happens to my minutes plan?
