Pantech Duo (C810) Rom

Like a lot of folks, I like the style of the Pantech Duo but hate the programming of it.
After a week of looking, I was only able to find one kitchen (somewhat) capable of dumping the flash.dio generated from the Duo’s WM 6.1 update program.

The only problem is that it only gets the SYS and OEM files before stopping.
The OEM folder contains all the AT&T crapware that I wish to free myself from and convert to extra space.
And the SYS folder contains the OS files where I hope to insert IE Mobile 6 from WM 6.1.4 which of many things, sports the mouse cursor.
But when I try to rebuild it, it says there is no XIP.bin.
Luckily I found one from the WM 6.1 beta that someone posted at

19593_SP_xip.zip

Well I placed it in the Rom folder and it accepted it, but stalled when it says that “boot.rgu” is missing.
And that brings me to where I am at now.
So anyone willing to provide any help would be much appreciated.
