No one can hear me on my HBH-30

Hello everyone,
I am the proud owner of a P800 and an HBH-30 bluetooth earpiece. I have not used the earpiece a lot, mainly because when I use it, the person I am speaking to complains that they can't hear me.

I suspect that I am doing something wrong, because I can hear them fine, which implies that there is no problem with the bluetooth link.

Very grateful for any help - I love my P800, and the HBH is a nice piece of kit, too.

I'd try removing the HBH-30 from the P800's list and re-pairing. If you get the same results, I'd try for a new HBH-30. Maybe you've got a bad MIC in yours.

I have the same experience with an hbh-10 and hbh-60, and other users have reported similar experiences with other headsets.

It seems that the p800 is very sensitive about receiving bluetooth signals, but it performs much better at transmitting them. That would explain why you can hear the callers clearly but they can not hear you. It is quite frustrating.

It looks to me like my problem is a common one, and the problem is the P800 rather than the headset. I will try to ensure better line of sight when making the connection, and hope that this improves things. Thank you both very much for your help!
