ACII vs Nationwide + Enhanced Service vs Extended Enhanced Service

OK, this is a complicated one. I REALLY wanted to post this in the VZW employees forum, but didn't want to get deleted/banned, so maybe one of them VZW employees/techies will see this and give a good answer.
Where I live is a USCC area, my phone(s) have always shown "Extended Network" (no matter what f/w is on it), therefore I can't do anything DATA (i.e. MMS, Mobile Web, etc.) here. For my phone to show "Verizon Wireless" (and therefore be able to do all things DATA), I need to drive several miles, although that mileage has been shrinking more and more over the last couple of years.
Lately, when perusing VZW's coverage maps and selecting the option to show pix/flix, Mobile Web, etc., the map shows that where I live is in an "Extended Enhanced Services" area (whereupon my phone shows 'Extended Network'). Then below the map it says that if I have a Nationwide calling plan, pix/flix, Mobile Web, etc. works in BOTH the "Enhanced Services" and "Extended Enhanced Services" coverage area. It goes on to say that if I am on America's Choice that pix/flix, etc. only works in the "Enhanced Services" areas.
Can anyone unravel this for me? I know that for my current phone there have been two different PRL's, one for ACII and another for NW, but I doubt that is how they accomplish this difference in services. Maybe it is done within the registration of my phone on their network and/or the PRL? Or should I just REALLY read the fine print at the bottom where it says "The Extended Enhanced Coverage Areas include networks run by other carriers (i.e. USCC in my case); some of the coverage depicted is based on their information . . . and we cannot ensure its accuracy", i.e., there is still NO agreement with USCC and VZW for any DATA services. Or basically, the other disclaimer that there is no guarantees based upon their map.
Thanx, teddy

switch to nationwide and data will work where you are

Thx for the quick reply, but how can you be so sure? I talked to someone at VZW Tech last night and they had the opposite answer, I even asked them specifically about switching to NW. HOWEVER, I know how spotty the knowledge levels are with VZW CS, so I ask again, how is this done? Via the different PRL or via the MEID/ESN registration on the network itself? And does having NW allow the DATA sharing on USCC's towers whereas ACII does not?

It's the way the plans are setup. Data roaming is not allowed on ACII. On Nationwide, all data is billed at $1.99/MB so Verizon doesn't care who you roam with in the US. Therefore you are able to use data in Extended Enhanced Services.
It's all common knowledge here on HowardForums. The tech you spoke with last night didn't know what s/he were talking about.
