I think the silver is the best... the pearl/lavender is to girly.. and the navy/gold looks good but tacky and would prolly get old really fast.. cant go wrong with silver :-D

I'm not sure about this, I have the lavendar and my flip is very tight, but I'm thinking how can the flip be any better? Sanyo phone easilly have the tightest flip mechanism of any phone I've seen, well except maybe Samsung.

Sorry, I meant I've read that the flip on the non-silvers is more like the one on the 5150 (I didn't mean better; it's a matter of preference). Has anyone seen the difference, if there is one, between the different colors and their flips?

i've never seen the red one, if it even exists. i have, however, seen an orange one in a japanese ad for the 8100.

As for same price as importing it from japan, this is not avalible in japan. This is very special order.

If anyone sends me their 8100, any of the 3 us colors, Ill send you a red 8100 for $75.

Well, the only camera I own is the little novelty camera in my 8100, so pictures will be dificult. Will work on that though.

Gimme a freggin' break. Y'all actually think that gkaste is telling the truth? Folks now, get real. He hasn't even taken a picture. If he was being honest he would have already shared at least a pic of his phone on the forum. Of course everybody goes and encourages him by telling him how awesome it would be to own the "red" (nonexistant) phone.

I am telling the truth. I had a red 8100. Got rid of it though, silver is cooler. Okay, wasnt the whole truth, I wouldnt really paint your phone for half a meatball sub, but something along those lines could be worked out.

I wanted to get one in Navy/gold, but they are really limited now (got into this thread a little late I know). I would get the pearl/white one but the inner color is lavender (too girly for my tastes). Why did they have to make it lavender on the inside instead of like dark blue or something?

Unless it's just a regional thing I don't believe you will be seeing any more Blue or White 8100's being sold as "New" from a Sprint Store.

Silver color looks amazing on the 8100 the phone is also great with a 64k color screen camera it is a dream phone
