Does this program unlock the gd87 without having to send the log to someone? Does this also unlock the eeprom in the phone. If it does both of these things then it is a valuable tool!

nah, it is an unlocker as some one confirmed they unlocked their phone on another forum. Can't test it though as i dont have a cable

How'd you get it to work? I have a USB cable will that work? I can't seem to get it to do anything... says it times out.

I used an Unlock Cable. It is a regular serial cable. Apparently,
from what I was told, it is different from a data
cable.

Yeah, there are two different cables, a data cable and an unlocking/flashing cable.
