Is It Possible To Flash & Unlock My HTC Touch Pro (Sprint) to Cricket

To all the Knowledgeable Guru's On This Forum,

I currently live in the Chicago market for Cricket and I currently have in my possession an HTC Touch Pro (Sprint), that I would like to get flashed and unlocked onto the Cricket network.

I was told by members of the cricket team, that if the phone does not support a 1700mhz frequency and the phone is not Tri-band, then it will not work. I was told that this phone is actually a quad-band, and should support 1700mhz frequency,

My question is, is it possible to adjust the frequency of the phone when flashed to work? Can someone please assist me? I am not new to the IT world, but I am defineilty new to the Cellphone Enhancement side of technology. It would be of great appreciation for some assistance.

Try changing your PRL to one that works for cricket. If you pick up a signal and can connect to cricket you should ok. I flashed my sprint touch pro with a verizon touch pro rom then updated my prl to cricket's 1007prl, I have WAP but no MMS yet. PM me and I'll let you in on how to enable WAP. I also recently loded KKs-Loaded-v1_5 rom and it works great!!
