so i have a question........i was reading that igo navigation software can be installed on the htc diamond......the diamond has a built in receiver......so i was wondering if i install the igo navi program on it and use the software would i be charged for data from the service provider?

If you sideload the maps, no, you don't have to pay the carrier for data.

i was thinking of buying a htc diamond 2 and put the igo maps and such on it and use it as a phoen and gps.........but its great if i wont be charged data...........i have to make sure b4 doing so................

If you get the maps on the device through your computer, that's sideloading.

Sony ericssion W705, W900i,C905 etc.... are of built in gps....

i think sony ericssion phones are great . as compare to other brand it has great feature and reasonable cost.....

they are but they are customizable because they dont use the windows program unlike the htc
