Hey everyone. I had kind of a weird question but i figured this would be as good of a place as any to ask. I had a sprint Katana II phone and was out on the lake today, and my phone went overboard. I managed to find it, but appearantly its its not waterproof. I let it sit for a while without the battery in it to dry. Now when i put the battery in, it turns on, but no buttons work. I already ordered a new phone (a sumsung instinct), but was wondering if they would still be able to get the contacts off the phone? It seems like everything works except the buttons, i can recieve texts and calls still and the clock and everything works.

There still may be some water inside the phone that is preventing it from working. Leave it for a few days, perhaps even put it in a bowl of rice to absorb the moisture.
If it was salt-water you may wanna rinse it off with distilled.
