Shuttle CDM8964 Material screen is made of for repair purposes

Hello, I am new here and after literally weeks of searching/talking to manufacturers, distributers, etc. nobody can seem to tell me what material the screen is made out of on my UTStarcom Shuttle Model # CDM 8964!?!? I have a few very light surface scratches and found a product called "Ice Cream" that was told will work AS LONG AS the screen is made of either Polycarbonate or Acrylic only. If not, it will cause MORE scratches!! So, if ANYONE can help direct me to someone that will know 100% what I am dealing with or if you yourself do know I would GREATLY appreciate you contacting me!! I hope it is cool to post my number here as I do NOT have internet access all of the time and want this info ASAP!! It is (262)-573-8245 and my name is Dave.
