Can either LG invision or Nokia E71x sync with iCal?

My wife does all our scheduling via iCal on a Mac. I don't use a mac. Here's what I'd like to be able to do:

purchase a new phone and be able to read her iCal via bluetooth (her mac is BT capable).

The owner's manuals both state they can transmit schedules via BT, I think the Nokia references the ability to receive calendars as well, but neither of course reference if this can be done into iCal.

Has anyone synced the nokia or the LG into iCal? Can it be done?

What is not explained is what happens on the Mac during sync. I'll have to convince my wife to let me install iSync to begin with. It would be best if it ran quietly in the background, or only synced when I selected so from my telephone. If anything has to be done on the macbook after install and setup, it's no good.

Does anyone know if iSync is a background quiet thing? or does it have to approve syncing every time from the computer? can I do everything from the phone? How's it work?
