thinking about renewing my contract with att on the n75. i still have my old one with cracked screen. it was an excellent phone after i debranded it so getting it for cheap and having it as backup would really be nice.

Yes, it's VERY easy. The black front cover just pops off (it has no screws). Just start prying the front black cover from the back near the hinge, working your way forward. It pops off. Then use a t6 (or t8, i don't remember) torx driver to remove the 4 torx screws. The metal lcd bracket comes off with a little prying on one side, then you can remove the lcd board. Easy.

ok i'll try it if i decide to get it. thanks. just for haha's, how about swapping housing and lcd? alot of trouble or pretty simple if you're mechanically inclined?

that phone is very easy to replace parts on.. mechanically inclined or not, it's pretty easy. I'd say go for it..
