works beautifully, u can try the NA plan for 3-4$ a month and give it a shot...; i tried on my htc and no worries, works well on iphone as well (wifi only)...

I was thinking of buying a Treo 750 and doing this but I read somewhere that the Treo 750 is too slow (CPU speed) so Skype doesn't work properly on it.

i put in $10 at 1st to see how it works and its pretty nice. Definitely has a delay to responces... I will say a few words to whom im speaking with and there is like a 2 second delay... Def noticeable, kinda like calling overseas from a landline phone, there is a delay..
But i will prob end up subscribing to that $3 monthly charge and trying it out for a few months... this way i can BUILD up my roll-over min.

I use it on mine, but mostly for txt to other skype users. It's not ready for voice on my cell.

I have used the Skype Client on my HTC Touch Cruise with my data plan and it was okay but choppy at times. Better than that, with my regular voice plan costing AUD$29/month I get 2000 minutes of Skype-to-Skype calls and if you are a bit inventive lots of uses have hacked it to be able to make Skype-out calls as well. Another bonus - in Australia incoming calls are free for the mobile phone user and they also have the Skype service rigged so that incoming Skype calls are forwarded to your mobile and ring through as regular mobile calls (you don't even need to be signed in to Skype). Whenever I go back to Canada I just shake my head when I see how far we are behind in offering this level of service.
