W760a Malfunction??

Hi I have been an owner of the w760a for a few months. Around that time came over here to view info on flashing it, which worked perfectly. I wasn't a member then but I really appreciated the help. I was wondering if you could help me again.
I just bought the software "easy listening" since Sony's own software will not transfer songs from a mac to the phone. So I transfer around 300 songs (its a 4gb memory card) and everything works great, except that I was missing about 20% of the songs. I noticed the phone would only update to 80%. I rebooted the phone and each time it would progressively update less and less of a percentage. What is wrong?? I have 300 songs that show up on the memory card and I only get around 90 of them.
